Privacy Policy

At Revoeltec S.A.S. we treat privacy as a promise, not a formality. This document explains in plain words what data we collect, why we do it, how we protect it and what rights you have over it.
1. Data controller
Revoeltec S.A.S., Tax ID 1793245678001, registered office at Av. República del Salvador N36-140, Office 702, Quito — Ecuador, is responsible for processing the personal data collected on this website and its associated platforms.
2. Data we collect
We collect identification data (name, ID or passport number), contact data (email, phone, address), financial data strictly necessary for KYC/AML verification, and technical information generated during navigation (IP address, device identifiers, visit timestamps).
3. Purposes
We process your data to: provide our real estate crowdlending services; comply with legal obligations — particularly the prevention of money laundering and terrorism financing; communicate with you about operations, opportunities and platform news; and improve the website experience.
4. Legal basis
We process data based on your express consent, the performance of the contract that binds us, compliance with applicable Ecuadorian legal obligations (Organic Law on Personal Data Protection — Official Gazette Supplement 459 of May 26, 2021 — and its regulations) and our legitimate interest in operating the platform safely.
5. Sharing with third parties
We share data only with: data processors providing us technological services (hosting, email, analytics) under contractual agreements; public authorities when a rule requires it; and, with your consent, counterparties of specific operations. We do not sell your data. Ever.
6. International transfers
Some technology service providers may be located outside Ecuador. When this occurs we require contractual clauses guaranteeing a level of protection equivalent to the Ecuadorian one.
7. Retention
We retain your data during the contractual relationship and afterwards for the applicable legal periods — normally ten (10) years for accounting, tax and anti-money laundering information. Once the periods expire, we delete or anonymize the data.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to, restrict the processing of, port your data and revoke your consent. You may also file complaints with the Ecuadorian Superintendence of Personal Data Protection. To exercise these rights write to privacidad@revoeltec.com.
9. Security
We apply encryption in transit (TLS 1.3), encryption at rest in databases, two-factor authentication for internal staff, access logs and periodic vulnerability tests. No system is invulnerable, but we do everything reasonably possible to protect you.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this document. If the changes are significant we will notify you by email or via a prominent notice on the site. The current version is always published here with its date.
